My project is called Rusean Hibiscus. It is a collection of singles and music videos. I am a producer, rapper and singer and I want to be a successful artist. I make R&B and Hip Hop music, influenced by Reggae,Dancehall, Classical and world music.
My music is creative and expressive and I have many musical influences. I particularly enjoy creating soundscapes and themed tracks or music that is made from abstract things such as recording environmental elements, like a Foley artist. This is what I want to display for my project. I want to be a professional artist and producer and this scholarship will definitely facilitate the creation of work that is uniquely me. There is a place for me in the music industry and this project will bring my sound, a fresh style, to the market.
